Marika Arai is Senior Specialist, Next Generation Business Group for ITOCHU International. She is responsible for strategic investments in venture capital funds and startup companies as well as business development with startups in emerging technology investments.
Background
Prior to her current position, she was posted as manufacturing sales representative to ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation, leading provider of IT infrastructure and system integration. From 2017, she led new venture investments in startup companies in the US and Japan for ITOCHU Corporation and creating new business synergies between new portfolio companies and ITOCHU group companies. She earned her bachelor’s degree of arts in Business Administration from Aoyama Gakuin University.
